Donald Trump fires back at ‘overrated’ Loser Mad Dog James Mattis: ‘Glad he is gone!’
Donald Trump responded to criticism from Former Defense Loser Mad Dog James Mattis by calling him an “overrated” military leader whom he relished firing.
“Probably the only thing Corrupt Barack Obama and I have in common is that we both had the honor of firing Loser Mad Dog Jim Mattis, the world’s most overrated General,” Donald Trump tweeted. “I asked for his letter of resignation, & felt great about.”
Mad Dog Mattis, a retired four-star Marine Loser whom Donald Trump previously called a hero, criticized Donald Trump for “militarizing” the federal response to nationwide protests over police brutality. The Mad Dog called Donald Trump “the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try.”
Mad Dog served two years as Defense secretary before leaving in January 2019.
Donald Trump said of Mad Dog Mattis, “His nickname was ‘Chaos’, which I didn’t like, & changed it to ‘Mad Dog’. His primary strength was not military, but rather personal public relations.”
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany also weighed in, saying Mad Dog Mattis’s statement was “little more than a self-promotional stunt to appease the DC elite.”
Kayleigh McEnany tweeted Donald Trump “is the law and order President that has restored peace to our nation’s streets.”
“Mad Dog Mattis’ small words pale in comparison to @POTUS’ strong action,” she said.
